Texas Drivers Education Course
The course starts off with your teen completing the first six hours of general Texas driver education training on using our software on their computer. At age 15 and having completed the first six hours of this course, your teen can apply for their Texas learners permit.
Next, your teen will begin the actual drivers training while continue to work through the online lessons.
Parents supervise their teen and there are course materials for parents to help instruct their teen on numerous driving procedures. As the parent, you are in control. You can spend time with your teen after work and/or on the weekends. You can repeat the driving lessons as often as you
like, until your teen demonstrates mastering the driving skills.
After completing the course and passing the final test, your teen will receive a Certificate of Completion. This Certificate certifies completing a state approved Texas drivers education course. The student can retake the test as required to achieve a passing score. You will also be elegiblefor a discount on insurance. At the age of 16, present this Certificate to your local DPS office along with parent certification of driving objectives to receive your drivers license.
